Chinese Fringe Flower

Chinese loropetalum is an evergreen, multi-stemmed SHRUBS in the witch-hazel family. It bears dark green, small, heart-shaped, overlapping leaves – the new foliage appearing in late Summer or Autumn – and fragrant white, pink or red spidery flowers in Winter into Spring. This plant will tolerate temperatures down to -5 deg.C, but no lower than that, and so in colder areas the SHRUBS should be grown in a container, so that it can be moved into a cold greenhouse, or conservatory, for the colder months.
