Doghobble

Leucothoe is an evergreen broadleaf SHRUBS, native to the USA. It is easy to grow in most soils, as long as the soil isn’t alkaline. The leaves are glossy, and the flowers, which are usually white, are small, dangling and bell-shaped. Moist conditions are needed, and this is a SHRUBS that does well in shade or partial shade. It will tolerate sunny conditions as long as there is plenty of water. ‘Rainbow’ is a low-growing and spreading variety. It is evergreen, and has green rather leathery leaves that are marbled with cream and pink. In Spring it has small white flowers under the branches.
